Title
Baby's wraparound
Description
Baby's wraparound produced for Symington's "Peter Pan" range in 1960. It is made from a cream fleecy fabric and has pull-through straps, which are tied at the front. The garment also featured the distinctive strapping associated with the Liberty bodice.

This was the final version of a baby's wraparound produced by the Symington company. It had originated in 1920 and had gradually replaced the stay band as a suitable undergarment for babies. This wraparound was marketed until the children's Liberty Bodice was finally withdrawn from production in 1974.
