Description
L1024 - Hunslet Engine Co. 0-6-0 saddletank, NEWPORT, No. 170 of 1876. The locomotive is seen with its crew and navvies during the construction of Contract No. 7 (Canfield Place to Marylebone built by J. T. Firbank of London Bridge). The photograph was taken on 10th March 1897 at the back of Broadhurst Gardens, West Hampstead, London.
