Description
Side view of woman's brassiere of 1937 in lace lined with cotton net, with adjustable suspenders. The design enjoyed limited success in the 1930s before being discontinued by the end of the decade.
Shaped at the front with darts and seeming, the brassiere finishes in deep points to which long, narrow, adjustable suspenders are attached. The garment fastens at the centre back by hooks and eyes attached to an elastic inset. The ribbon shoulder straps are not adjustable.
