Title
L1242 - Viaduct construction at Rugby
Description
L1242 - Most men who worked on the Railway's construction were skilled with far more than simply pick and shovel. These riveters at work on Rugby viaduct would still have been thought of as navvies, but the professional excavator of old had evolved into a versatile employee capable of a wide range of tasks. Note the two steam cranes working further along the bridge.
