L2333 - Photographed around 1897, this is the completed plate girder occupation underbridge that carried the Last Main Line over a path east of Nethercote, Warwickshire. A young man, possibly Newton himself, stands on the embankment and poses for the camera. Thomas Oliver & Son was the firm contracted to build this section of the Railway (Contract No.4, Rugby to Woodford).
