Bronze Age Pottery Urn
Description
Found in a shallow pit outside a Bronze Age burial mound near Lockington, Leicestershire, in 1994. Found near two gold armlets and pottery vessels. An Early Bronze Age collared urn decorated with vertical rows of impressions possibly made with a bird bone. It was buried upside down and the rim was damaged in antiquity.
