L1602 - Girder underbridge carrying the London Extension over a road near Cosby, Leicestershire, circa 1897. Note the iron lattice work parapet: a distinctive feature of the Last Main Line. The identity of the man standing on the bridge is unknown. This section of the Line (Contract No.2, Leake to Aylestone) was built by Henry Lovatt off Wolverhampton between 1894-1899.
