L1535 - Sun Light Cottages, Friars Causeway, Leicester, circa 1895. These houses were some of the many properties which the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway demolished to make way for the London Extension. Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton was the contractor who built this section of the new Line (Contract No.2, Leake to Aylestone).
