Title
L2805 - Girder bridge on the Mountsorrel branch line
Description
L2805 - This girder bridge was built to carry the branch line to the Mountsorrel Quarry that left the London Extension at Swithland sidings. The structure's corrugated iron parapet, presumably chosen for reasons of economy, is certainly not in keeping with the fine stone wing walls and abutments.
