Title
L2240 - Girder bridge and electrified permanent way near West Ruislip
Description
L2240 - Photographed near West Ruislip, this girder bridge carries the Great Central's Neasden to Northolt line over the electrified tracks of the Uxbridge branch of the Metropolitan Railway. This section of the Last Main Line was built by T. Oliver & Son at the same time as the Great Western & Great Central Joint Line, and it connected the Joint Railway with the existing Metropolitan & Great Central route that brought the London Extension into the capital.
