Title
L2229 - Construction of Marylebone Goods Depot
Description
L2229 - This photograph is thought to show the steel frame of Marylebone Goods Depot. Built by J.T. Firbank as part of Contract No.7 (West Hampstead to Marylebone), this building has sadly long since been demolished. The tracks in the foreground are a line of contractor's temporary railway, laid to bring men, materials and machinery to and from the building site.
