L2206 - This is the completed bowstring girder underbridge that carried the Line over Braunstone Gate. Situated just north of Leicester Goods Yard, the bridge formed part of the long viaduct that took the London Extension across much of the city. Note the contractor's temporary rails, and the bridge's lattice iron work; a typical feature of the Last Main Line.
