L1472 - 'Culvert over meandering brook', Eydon, Northamptonshire (S. W. A. Newton's notes). Taken from the embankment around 1897, the photograph shows one of many structures built to accommodate the existing waterways crossed by the London Extension. This section of the Railway (Contract No. 5, Woodford to Brackley) was constructed by Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne.
