Title
L1462 - Cutting and contractor's railway at Stanford-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire
Description
L1462 - Contractor's rails running through a cutting at Stanford-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire, circa 1897. The bridge beyond is a temporary wooden structure that would later be demolished, and most likely replaced with a brick arch bridge. This part of the Railway (Contract No. 2, Leak to Aylestone) was built by Henry Lovatt of Wolverhampton.
