L1077 - Manning Wardle & Co. class 'K' saddletank locomotive (No. 1013), FRODSHAM, with two crew, circa 1897. The locomotive is pictured at work on Contract No. 3 (Aylestone to Rugby built by Topham, Jones & Railton) near Shawell, Leicestershire. The loco was built in 1887, and was originally owned by T. A. Walker of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
