Title
L2794 - Girder bridge over the Midland Railway at Linby
Description
L2794 - Built by Logan & Hemingway as part of Contract No.1 (Annesley to Leake), these are the three girder spans of the Great Central bridge that carried the London Extension across the Midland Railway at Linby, Nottinghamshire. The bridge may be completed, but the rough embankment on the right of the picture shows that this part of the line is not yet ready for traffic.
