Lantern Slides Collection. Leocestershire Record Office
Ruins of the original parish church in Glenfield, Leicestershire. The church was originally built in the 12-14th centuries. The ruins now lie in the grounds of St Peter's Church, which was built in 1876 and replaced this original church, which was becoming structurally unsound. The ruins are now heavily overgrown, so this photograph was likely taken shortly after St Peter's was constructed.
