Title
L2343 - 4-6-0 locomotive BELVOIR CASTLE at Belgrave Road Station
Description
L2343 - Photographed at the London & North Eastern Railway station at Belgrave Road, Leicester, this is the 4-6-0 main line locomotive BELVOIR CASTLE, an early example of the B17 Class engines designed by Sir Nigel Gresley which were built between 1929-1937. Interestingly, these engines were also known as Sandringhams, because so many of them were named after stately homes.
