Title
L3010 - Brick arch bridge and permanent way near Helmdon
Description
L3010 - A three arch brick overbridge spans a neatly dressed cutting and a single line of permanent way, thought to have been photographed near Helmdon around 1898. To the right of the main line is a section of temporary contractor's railway: this would soon have been lifted as the trackbed neared completion. Drain pipes, sleepers and rails have been piled beside the line ready for use.
