Title
L2927 - Footbridge over a stream near Brackley
Description
L2927 - When he wasn't busy photographing the construction of the railway, S. W. A. Newton often recorded scenes of rural life from the communities that lay close to the route. Taken in July 1896, this picture is just such an example. Beyond the cows is the wooden footbridge that crossed a stream between Brackley and Turweston, Northamptonshire.
