Title
L3040 - Girder bridge construction over the canal at Aylestone
Description
L3040 - A view along the towpath towards the construction of bridge no. 386, a girder structure that was built to carry the London Extension across the Grand Union Canal/ River Soar west of Aylestone. The timber stanchions rising from the water are only temporary supports, and these would later have been removed.
