Title
L3065 - Whetstone viaduct, Leicestershire
Description
L3065 - Looking south at the completed 456 foot Whetstone Viaduct (bridge 395). Constructed of engineer's blue brick by Topham, Jones & Railton as part of Contract No.3 (Aylestone to Rugby), each of the 13 arches had a span of 30 feet. Unlike so much of the Last Main Line's infrastructure, the viaduct still stands today.
