Title
L3069 - Trackbed and diverted watercourse near Aylestone
Description
L3069 - This photograph is thought to have been taken looking south at the diverted watercourse north west of Aylestone which for a short distance ran parallel with the Last Main Line embankment. The picture provides a good opportunity to witness the levels of hardcore and ballast which have been used to provide stability and drainage for the permanent way trackbed.
