Title
L1403 - Brick arch underbridge near Twyford, Buckinghamshire
Description
L1403 - S. W. A. Newton obviously had difficulty in getting a suitable photograph of this brick arch underbridge near Twyford in Buckinghamshire. The bridge appears to connect two shallow embankments which are partially hidden by the wooden bar fence. While the brick parapets are finished, the track bed itself has still to be cleared and the main line permanent way laid. Closer inspection will reveal that there are contractor's tracks, belonging to Walter Scott & Co., crossing the bridge supported by wooden packing.
