Title
L3098 - Navvy mission room near Flecknoe
Description
L3098 - This navvy mission room is thought to have been photographed at the hutted camp near Flecknoe which was erected by Thomas Oliver & Son to house some of the navvies at work on Contract No.4 of the Last Main Line (Rugby to Woodford). Within these functional premises, navvies and their families could attend readings, services and Sunday School, organised by the Navvy Mission Society and conducted by a lay preacher.
