Title
L3111 - Misterton village from the railway embankment
Description
L3111 - Looking east across the fields from the Great Central embankment towards the south Leicestershire village of Misterton. Seen from a distance of more than half a mile, the spire of St. Leonard's Church is the only recognisable feature. The meandering river in the foreground is the Swift. If the same scene was captured today, the M1 motorway would be running parallel with the embankment between the village and the railway.
