L1247 - Girder underbridge across the road to Ruddington. The date of the photograph is believed to be 22nd May 1897, and it was taken at Wilford, Nottinghamshire. Both lines of track are the permanent way, suggesting this section of the Railway was almost complete. Logan & Hemingway was the contractor responsible for the construction of this part of the Line (Contract No. 1 Annesley to Leake).
