Title
L2928 - Copied photograph of a Victorian lady
Description
L2928 - According to his original notes, S. W. A. Newton copied an existing photograph of this Victorian lady for a Mr. Faulkner, a Verger in the town of Brackley, Northamptonshire. It was by undertaking such work, and also by selling copies of his own photographs to the subjects he captured, that Newton helped to offset the costs of his repeated expeditions to record the Last Main Line's construction.
