Title
L2938 - Girder underbridge near Finmere
Description
L2938 - Built by Walter Scott & Co. as part of Contract No.6 (Brackley to Quainton Road), this stout plate girder occupation underbridge carried the London Extension across a farm track near Finmere, Buckinghamshire. The bridge may be complete, but the bare slopes of the embankment littered with debris indicate that the railway is still some way from carrying main line traffic.
