Title
L1255 - Constructing the Trent Viaduct at Nottingham
Description
L1255 - Looking south at Nottingham's Trent viaduct nearing completion, circa 1897. This excellent photograph shows the variety of styles that were employed by the architect in order to fulfil the requirements of the construction. This section of the Railway (Contract No. 1, Annesley to Leake) was built by Logan & Hemingway. The tracks in the foreground are those for the temporary bridge.
