Title
L2955 - Farmhouse at Dunton Bassett
Description
L2955 - When he wasn't busy recording the construction of the Last Main Line, S. W. A. Newton regularly ventured into the nearby rural communities. Here, his compulsive hobby led him to capture a wealth of interesting subjects. This man was photographed leaning from the upstairs window of a farmhouse at Dunton Bassett, a Leicestershire village that lay a short distance to the west of the London Extension, and which was served by the Great Central station at Ashby Magna.
