Here, his compulsive hobby led him to capture a wealth of interesting subjects. This man was photographed leaning from the upstairs window of a farmhouse at Dunton Bassett, a Leicestershire village that lay a short distance to the west of the London Extension, and which was served by the Great Central station at Ashby Magna.
