Title
L2978 - Village street in Hellidon
Description
L2978 - The repeated expeditions that S. W. A. Newton made to record the Last Main Line's construction inevitably took him into the many rural communities that existed close to the route. This street scene was captured at Hellidon, Northamptonshire, a short distance to the west of the railway. The sign above the door of the second house proclaims this to be the unlikely premises of a baker and grocer.
