Title
L2976 - Brick arch bridge and embankment near Sulgrave, Northamptonshire
Description
L2976 - This brick arch bridge, complete with attractive curved wing walls, was built by Walter Scott & Co. as part of Contract No.5 to carry the London Extension across the Sulgrave to Weston bridle road. The structure may be complete, but the piles of spoil lying on the embankment show that it would be some time yet before any main line traffic passed this way.
