Title
L2972 - Village street at Sulgrave
Description
L2972 - S. W. A. Newton's repeated excursions along the London Extension often took him into the many rural communities that existed close to the route. There he captured innumerable snapshots of English village life at the end of the nineteenth century. This quiet street was photographed at Sulgrave, a small Northamptonshire village that lay a short distance to the west of the railway.
