L1320 - Construction of a cut and cover two arch tunnel north of Wellington Place, London. The rails in the foreground are temporary tracks laid by the contractor. Note the steam powered crane, and its crude shelter built to provide a small amount of comfort for the crew. This section of the Railway (Contract No.7) was built by J.T. Firbank of London Bridge.
