Title
L1326 - Navvy Mission Hall, Cosby Hill
Description
L1326 - The interior of the Navvy Mission Hall at Cosby in Leicestershire, circa 1897. The lectern stands at the far end of the picture, while the organ is positioned immediately in front, between the lectern and the congregation seats. The latter are of a garden bench type with reversible backs, enabling the user to face either one way, or the other. Such seats were often found on trams. There are pictures on the wall above the lectern portraying Jesus 'Dedicating the Temple' and 'Christ at the Feast'.
