Title
L1128 - Fa'ade of shallow tunnel at Harrow in Middlesex.
Description
L1128 - A brick built fa'ade of a shallow tunnel flanked by two 'blind' arches, located near Harrow, Middlesex. This tunnel was built as part of the Northolt Junction to High Wycombe Contract awarded to Pauling & Co. of Westminster. Whilst the photograph shows the fa'ade as being complete, there is still considerable construction activity in evidence. Note the track becomes a single line as it passes through the tunnel.
