Title
L3023 - Brick and girder bridge near Braunston, Warwickshire
Description
L3023 - Looking north towards bridge no. 474, a brick and girder structure built by T. Oliver & Son as part of Contract no. 4 (Rugby to Woodford) to carry a path from Sawbridge to Braunston. With the twin tracks of the permanent way laid and ballasted, and the cutting slopes neatly dressed, this section of the Last Main Line is complete. Just visible beyond are the parapets of no. 473, the bridge that brought the railway over the Oxford Canal.
