Title
L1145 - Steel Girder Underbridge
Description
L1145 - A steel girder occupation underbridge with steel plate parapets and straight wing walls, located near Calvert, Buckinghamshire. The bridge was built as part of Contract No. 6 (Brackley - Quainton Road) awarded to Walter Scott & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne. A 6-bar farm gate and fencing restrict access to the bridge on both sides. A substantial amount of stone hard-core has been placed under the bridge and on the access roads through each gate.
