L1190 - Another of S. W. A. Newton's non-Great Central photographs, this time showing the interior of the London & North Western Railway's Aylesbury Station. This interior photograph of unknown date shows the glass roof to good effect, and also gives a glimpse of some of the LNWR's six-wheeled bogie carriages. A sole passenger waits on the platform beneath the hanging signs that read 'Gentlemen' and 'Gentlemen's First Class Waiting Room'. Note the weighing scales and the paraffin cans on the platform against the wall.
