Title
L1211 - Girder underbridge with lattice parapet over lane.
Description
L1211 - Low girder underbridge with a lattice parapet - possibly outside Leicester. There is a town in the background with tall chimneys visible. This pattern of bridge was very common along the London Extension, but it is unclear whether the road beneath is just a country lane or a farm track. The embankments in the photograph have all grassed over, suggesting that the line had been open for a while when this photograph was taken.
