Title
L2912 - Girder bridge over the Last Main Line near Woodford
Description
L2912 - A view along the main line permanent way towards bridge no. 501, a brick and girder structure that crossed the London Extension a short distance to the south of Woodford Halse. Beyond is the point at which the Stratford & Midland Junction Railway joined the Great Central. Just visible at the centre of the picture is a cloud of steam rising from a contractor's locomotive at work in the cutting.
