Title
L2756 - Rock cutting and wagons near Bulwell
Description
L2756 - An interesting view along a deep rock cutting near Bulwell, Nottinghamshire. A line of wagons snakes along the cutting floor, having reached the end of the roughly laid tracks. On the right, another line of undulating contractor's rails passes very close to the edge of this near vertical slope. Visible beyond is a steam powered crane, and what appears to be a temporary footbridge. Logan & Hemingway was the contractor responsible for building this section of the line (Contract No.1, Annesley to Leake)
