Title
L2779 - Brick and girder bridge at Hucknall, Nottinghamshire
Description
L2779 - Two lines of undulating temporary railway pass beneath the brick and girder overbridge that carried Wood Lane across the London Extension at Hucknall. Interestingly, the wall of the left abutment appears complete and even has its coping stones, whilst its counterpart on the right is still far from finished. Note the man in smart dress sitting down at the foot of the cutting beside the right abutment.
