Description
L2780 - Taken around 1897, this is the view south towards Bulwell viaduct. Apart from some significant gaps in the parapet, the structure appears complete. At 390 yards (357 metres), this twenty-five arch feat of engineering was the longest viaduct on the London Extension. Note the small boy who is lying down in the foreground.
