Title
L2781 - Girder bridge and signal gantry at Rugby
Description
L2781 - Looking west towards the famous Great Central bridge at Rugby, part of the viaduct that carried the company's Last Main Line across the London & North Western Railway. The L.N.W.R. insisted that the structure posed a significant obstruction to its own line, and so it was at the Great Central's expense that it erected the huge signal gantry that can be seen in front of the lattice work girders.
