Description
L2791 - This photograph was taken during construction of the large girder bridge that carried the Great Central's Last Main Line across the London & North Western Railway at Rugby. Built by T. Oliver & Son as part of Contract No.4 (Rugby to Woodford), the bridge formed part of the long viaduct that also spanned the Oxford Canal and the flood plain of the River Avon.
