Title
L2817 - Brick arch culvert over the brook near Brackley
Description
L2817 - In S. W. A. Newton's original notes, this brick arch culvert near Brackley is titled the 'smaller brook bridge'. Apart from the short curved wing wall that is nearest to the camera, the structure appears complete. Running across the bottom left of the picture are the wooden planks of the temporary bridge that navvies would have used to carry themselves and their wheelbarrows over the stream.
