Description
L2825 - Photographed in March 1897, two years before the first passenger service left Marylebone, this is thought to be the staircase that would eventually take people up onto the platform of the Great Central station at Lutterworth. An old wooden gate has been rested against the brick work to prevent access to the construction site above.
