This image is a copy photograph of a postcard produced by Agnes Moore of Clarendon Park in Leicester showing The Staff of Life public house, Mowsley, around 1913.
Mowsley lies 6 miles to the west of Market Harborough. Note the corrugated iron covering the old thatch and the shutters on the windows. The pub was rebuilt in 1929, and is still in business.
